The Canadian Forces (CF) is the name of an umbrella organization that covers three elements: the Navy, the Army and the Air Force. Each partner looks after issues that come up in, or on, one of our planet's main environments - the Sea, Land and Air - and some jobs in the Forces offer variety. For example, a Navy cook might be employed in an Army unit; or a clerk in the Air Force could sail on a Navy ship. We're all part of the same team. .  Julian Austin performs the Red and White live in Afghanistan for our heroes.

Troops from Alpha Company, 2nd Platoon, "Red Devils" from Edmonton, Canada are ambushed as they conducted battle damage assessment in the village on July 15, 2006 in Sangin, Helmand Province in southern Afghanistan.  Troops from Alpha Company, 2nd Platoon, "Red Devils" from Edmonton, Canada engage in a fierce firefight with Taliban insurgents on July 8, 2006 in Panjawi, Kandahar Province in southern Afghanistan.

Highlight vid of my tour with the Canadian Military Police to Kandahar, Afghanistan - Aug 06 to Feb 07  The is the first tribute slideshow with the song "Holding Out for a Hero" with a touch of humor. I had to have some humor to help get me through my husband's tour in Afghanistan Jan-Aug 2006.This was put together from pictures taken in Afghanistan. Thank you to our brave Canadian Soldiers.
